I find this comment quite frustrating. We are highly motivated, innovative and resilient and the suggestion that we are not diverts attention away from the real issue which is funding. i suggest you come and spend a day in Rochdale and take a proper look at the third sector and the impact cuts are having.
Best wishes

No matter what challenges we face as we reach out to those in need, even with all the frustration, tears, fears, lack of funding and anger we still have to keep hope Alive! Where there is life! There is hope and a possibility of great change one day.
Last week at our local Super Supper Club where we feed the homeless and hungry a lovely hot meal, a lady came up to me and said Thank you for remembering us and providing this warm place of refuge. It brought a tear to my eye and I said all the struggles I face to keep this club going is worth it!!!
Keep hope Alive!!!

Wow Min what a lovely story!. It is a struggle and sometimes I feel like giving up! The sad disappointment is I have been working in the voluntary sector for over 35 years and nothing has changed but if we werent here what would society be without the support of empathic and caring individuals such as yourselves. Its a lonely place and a struggle for funding and keeping moral up, but we are all here doing it together to make the world a better place to be in!! keep your chin up
God bless you Laura! Thank you for your encouragement. It is most appreciated.
It’s amazing as lonely as we may feel at times we are a strong force that can never be abolished! Charity represents LOVE and LOVE has overcome war, persecution, hate, starvation, poverty, pain, disease, rape, death and the list goes on………
We can’t be anything else but ourselves in fulfilling our purpose and destinies. We have a heart to love and care for people and nothing can change that.
My prayer is may you be strengthened in love and your contribution in our society and may Charity reign in the entire world forever….
Keep up the great work too!
